Convenient Transportation Option
Warm Welcome:
If you arrive by plane, I can pick you up at Leonardo da Vinci Airport (Fiumicino) for a reasonable round-trip transfer fee. My property manager, Davide, and I take pride in making you feel at ease the moment you step through the door.
Convenient Car Rental:
For just $400 per week, you can rent my new Fiat 500X—far cheaper than the usual European car rental rates. That way, you’re free to explore nearby towns like Orvieto and the gorgeous Umbrian countryside on your own schedule.
If you wish, you can rent not only my house but also my new, Fiat 500X (manual transmission), 4 door sedan waiting for you at the house. With the incredibly high price of renting a car in Europe (easily $800+ a week for just a compact vehicle), my rental fee of $400 per week, for a mid-size car, is a money-saving choice. If you do decide to rent my car, it can also be easily arranged for you to be picked up (by either myself or my property manager Davide) at the Leonardo Da Vinci airport (Fiumicino) and brought to the house. You will then be driven back to the airport at the end of your stay. The total price for both of these trips is $600. After a long flight you’ll appreciate being picked up and driven directly to the house where my car will be waiting for you. I or Davide, will also take you into the house and give you an orientation to both the house and the car. At the end of your stay, you’ll appreciate not having to deal with the stress of driving to the airport and returning a rental car in time to catch your flight, making sure the car is topped off with gas and with no idea how long the return process will take.
